Calypso Health (“Calypso,” “we,” “us”) is a thyroid-aware wellness companion. This policy explains what we collect on our website and in the Calypso iOS app, and how we use it. This is a draft and should be reviewed by counsel before you rely on it legally.
Website
On calypsoai.health, we may collect:
- Waitlist email — if you join the waitlist
- Basic technical data — such as browser type or IP address that our hosting provider may log automatically
We do not collect lab results, mood logs, or HealthKit data through this website.
iOS app
The Calypso iPhone app may collect health and wellness information you choose to enter or connect, including:
- Mood, symptoms, and energy — check-ins you log
- Cycle / period data — if you enable optional cycle tracking
- Lab results — such as thyroid markers you upload or enter (for example TSH)
- Apple Health (HealthKit) — if you grant permission (for example activity, sleep, or heart-related data)
- Connected devices — such as Oura Ring, if you choose to connect
- Account details — such as email or display name if you sign in
App data is used to power your personal record, trends, and Calypso Assistant answers. It is not used to diagnose conditions, recommend medication changes, or replace care from your clinician. Connections to HealthKit and third-party devices are optional and under your control.
How we use your email
- To notify you about TestFlight / early access
- To send occasional product updates related to Calypso
- For account-related messages if you create an app account
We will not sell your email address. You can unsubscribe anytime by emailing us.
Where data is stored
Waitlist emails are stored in our Supabase project. Website hosting may be provided by Netlify or a similar provider. App health logs may be stored on your device and, if cloud features are enabled, with our service providers under our control.
Your choices
- Ask us to delete your waitlist email
- Unsubscribe from marketing or launch emails
- Revoke HealthKit or device permissions in iOS Settings
- Delete app data or your account (when available in the app or by emailing us)
